Meet the Doctor

Dr. Nathan | Dr. Daniel

Dr. J. Nathan Cho, HonBSc, DDS, MDSc, Cert Prosthodontics

Dr. Nathan received an Honours B.Sc. with High Distinction in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. As an accomplished musician who began playing piano at age seven, Dr. Nathan decided to pursue a career in dentistry because it would enable him to merge his artistic sensibilities with his academic interest in science.

After receiving his D.D.S. from the University of Toronto, he completed three years of resident training in Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center, obtaining a Certificate in Prosthodontics. He also completed a Masters in Dental Science at the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Nathan is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and a part-time clinical instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Toronto.

In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Nathan established his practice to provide cosmetic dentistry, dental implant surgery, restorations, and full-mouth rehabilitation. He performs implant surgeries and surgical extractions at several different locations in the Greater Toronto Area. He also lectures to general dentists in Implant Dentistry in association with Straumann Canada. In all of his professional experience, he is recognized for his approachable and friendly manner.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nathan still loves playing the piano. He also enjoys many sports, including squash, tennis, golf and running.

Dr. D. Daniel Lee, HonBSc, DDS, MSc, Dip Anaesthesiology, Diplomate of American Dental Board of Anesthesiology

Dr. Daniel received a B.Sc. with Distinction in Biochemistry from McMaster University. He chose to attend the University of Toronto Dental School out of a desire to help improve people’s quality of life.

After a general practice residency in the United States, he completed specialty training in dental anesthesia so he could deliver dental care to children and adults who need help relaxing in the dentist’s chair. He is now a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Anesthesiology.

Although he is currently practicing general dentistry and sedation dentistry in a number of clinics in the GTA, Dr. Daniel performs IV sedation at our office to make dental visits more pleasant for patients who experience anxiety. He is 1 in 15 dental anaesthesiologists in Ontario and we are very honored to have him at Siloam Dental.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Daniel practices karate and has a black belt. He has also done volunteer work for over ten years with a variety of organizations.
